From 1981 to 2006, Mr. Petralia devoted a portion of his practice to Bankruptcy Law and debtor rights. As economic conditions have deteriorated, particularly in the real estate industry, Mr. Petralia has devoted an increasing amount of his time assisting homeowners delinquent on their mortgages or in danger of default and foreclosure. He assists homeowners in exploring solutions through workouts and short sales, and if necessary, more global solution of bankruptcy filing. His knowledge of real estate, mortgages, consumer protection laws and bankruptcy laws provide him with the skills necessary to assist distressed homeowners.
